We are proud to have offered geotechnical engineering consulting and construction materials testing services for a significant project involving the construction of a single and two-story elementary school campus. Our role primarily focused on ensuring the geotechnical integrity and quality of the project.

The new school campus boasted an array of essential facilities, including classrooms, a library, cafeteria, gymnasium, meeting rooms, mechanical rooms, restrooms, and a chiller plant. Additionally, outdoor amenities such as basketball courts, a soccer field, and a playground area were incorporated into the design.

Site work was a crucial aspect, involving the installation of sidewalks, curb and gutter systems, storm water retention ponding areas, trash receptacle holding areas, bus drop-off zones, parent drop-off zones, a fire truck access lane, and a parking lot.

Our geotechnical engineering consulting services encompassed drilling borings, conducting laboratory soil classification tests, and providing recommendations for pavement and foundation. During the construction phase, our focus shifted to quality assurance testing, including in-place field density testing, as well as collecting samples such as concrete cylinders, mortar cubes, and grout prisms for compressive strength testing. We also provided observation services for steel connection welds.

Our diligent efforts in geotechnical engineering consulting and construction materials testing ensured compliance with project specifications and plans, contributing to the successful completion of this elementary school project.
